Welcome to the world of La Costaiola , where the winemaking traditions of two families, Rossetti and Scrivani, come together in a profound passion for the land and working the land. Each wine is an authentic expression of the Oltrepò Pavese, a symphony of tradition, terroir, and innovation .
Our story begins in the vineyard
Nestled in a breathtaking hilly landscape, La Costaiola passionately cultivates historic varieties such as Croatina and Bonarda , alongside interpretations of Pinot Noir and Riesling . Thanks to a favorable microclimate and organic farming practices , our grapes grow healthy and strong, ready to express the elegance, structure, and authenticity that characterize our wines.

The cellar: where art meets technology
In our winery, modern technology and respect for the environment blend in a delicate balance. The quality of La Costaiola wines stems precisely from this patient mediation.

New Classic Method: An ode to freshness and youth. The hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes are pressed with extreme gentleness. The selected musts rest in steel vats, where they undergo bâtonnage (stirring) to add structure and complexity. After aging on the lees for at least nine months , this Classic Method is born, synonymous with pleasantness and a youthful style.

Physikós: An organic wine refermented in the bottle, made from a selection of Pinot Noir and Riesling grapes. This wine honors the most ancient rural traditions, where respect for the land was the only necessary tool. Every sip of Physikós tells an authentic story, a living expression of our land.
